I am heading out of town this weekend so this week's post is really going to only be for the first half of the week.
On Monday the boys spent some time playing with their Nunes cousins. After that we headed over and played with thier Hansen cousins. Peter fell asleep on the way home, which was bad news. That just makes bed time impossible. Had we thought through it a bit better, we probably would have stayed in South Jordan longer, fed Peter something before getting into the car and then let him fall asleep for bed on the way home. But Andy was getting home at 4:00 so we wanted to be there when he arrived. We were almost home when Ammon gasped and said, "Mom! Peter's all bloody!"

WHAT?
Fortunately it looked a lot worse than it really was and it was just a simple nose bleed. So scary though. My cute little boy went in the car looking healthy and fine, and this is what he looked like when we arrived at our destination.
On Monday we found Peter's lightsaber at Katy's house, and we have been playing with them all ever since. The boys especially love it when Daddy plays with them.
The boys seem to be getting more and more independant every day. This morning I was getting ready to hop into the shower when I realized that I heard water running. Ammon and Peter had decided to give themselves a bath. Their bath routine typically ends with them snuggling on the couch with towels and a blanket watching TV while they "dry off".
We went to a new dentist for our six month check-up. We weren't happy with our last dentist, and moving gave us a good excuse to find a new one. The people there were great and both boys were really good. I especially expected to need to really coax Peter through the visit, but he did everything without me - including getting x-rays in a different room and getting up into the chair. And the best news from our visit - NO CAVITIES!
We had torrential rain pouring down today, and the boys thought it was fun to play with the "river" going through the parking lot! I remember playing in the gutters after a rain storm as a child. It really doesn't get much more fun than that!
That's been our week so far. Tomorrow the boys get to go to their Shadel cousins house where they will spend the night and play all day Friday. Andy and I are looking forward to a date night (thanks Jen!) before I head out of town Friday morning. Andy will spend the weekend with the boys and even took Monday off work and goes in late on Tuesday. They have all sorts of ideas of what they will do to pass the time including going to the zoo, miniature golfing, or maybe seeing How to Train Your Dragon at the dollar theatre. On Tuesday they will spend a couple of hours with Aunt Rebecca, and then, if I'm not home yet, they'll get to hang out with Grandma Peggy! They are guaranteed to have some good party time! I've never spent this much time away from them - the most I've ever done was when Andy and I went to St. George for two nights last May. I'm sure they'll be fine, but I hope I survive the separation!
Kambria had tons of fun playing with them! Sounds like they are going to be having a great time over the next couple of days.
