This is where our life in Alaska is beginning.
We found a "nice" little apartment in a location that is working out really well for us.
Andrew is loving his new job.
His branch is located in the mall and they get a lot of business.
School is going really well for the boys.
It is nice and close.
They are adjusting well and thriving in their new classes.
My first exposure to grocery shopping in Ketchikan was to walk into the store
and see apples for $3.99 a pound.
I just about choked!
As it turned out, we have found my apples (I get Fuji) for a mere $1.49 a pound.
That sounded more familiar to what I am used to.
I took some other pictures of the prices on produce.
Some things seemed similar to what I would expect in Utah.
(like the Raspberries.)
Other things seemed a lot more.
This is the road that we live off of.
I am standing on the corner that turns from our street onto the road that the school is on.
If you head down the street from here and take the first driveway on the left, you will find us.
